Product Description
OCTOBER COUNTRY'S own design, made from the same quality, top-grain, oil-tanned leather as our bags. Each sling has a universal lace-up boot for the butt of the gun. The one piece 1 1/4" carry strap makes toting any rifle more comfortable. All October Country slings come pre-assembled for your convenience. Available in solid color or two-tone (one on the right). universal sling

Ordered this sling for some lever action rifles that I did not want to drill into the wood. Sling is excellent, well made with good materials and attaching to the rifle is very easy. Grips good and would not hesitate to recommend.

Mussleloader sling

I received my muzzleloader sling within 1 1/2 weeks. It fits just fine and looks really good on my rifle. Now I don't have to hand carry my rifle, leaving my hands free to carry other items. I am very pleased with it. The price was very reasonable and the service was great.

I had some lever action rifles and did not want to put screws in my stock for sling mounts so this leather universal sling works very nicely and I love it. It is very nice looking and well made.

It is perfect for my kentucky I just built. It fit perfectly, you can still see the sights with it installed which was my main concern, but it is easy to see them over it. Fast shipping. Thank you.

The right look, the right price, the right quality

I have a CZ Hammer Classic side by side shotgun, which I bought for it's 19th century looks and functionality.
I wanted a sling that would complement it's 19th centuiry appeal and this sling works perfectly. It fit the stock, and slides over the barrels nicely for an easy carry. The leather has to be broken in to keep the lacings tight, but that's to be expected.
The only drawback, which is unavoidable, is that the leather loop going over the rib obscures the front bead site. That's OK...I don't really use the beawd site..just point and shoot.

Excellent Sling

This is a well made sling made with quality leather. I've attached it to a Pedersoli Howdah Hunter pistol with an attachable stock. I've embellished it with a small silver Zuni concho.

I have been looking for a sling for my Lyman Great planes hunter 50 for some time. This sling looks great and very easy to install on the rifle. Used it for my muzzleloader deer season and it made my hunt more enjoyable.

I recently purchased one for my Traditions Hawken, the quality and fit were great. It really adds a nice look to a classic style rifle.
Service was also outstanding, took about a week to receive my order. A long haul to where I'm located in Eastern Canada.
