Product Description
These cow horns (sold individually) are for those who would like to make their own powder horn. They have the scales sanded off and are polished. They are typically a mottled white with honey or brown colored tips (colors vary depending on stock on hand). Discount on larger quantity, please call for pricing.
Large and Extra Large Horn Currently Not Available. Medium Horns available in Left Hip Only at this time.

I ordered the smallest one. It is the perfect size for me. I also ordered the valve and bushing as well as a 75 grain charge tube. With a cedar cap and swivel from here it looks amazing. Ordered a sling and used the horn tip for a plug for the tube. It held approx half pound of powder which is definitely enough for any type of shooting I could possibly do. Thank you It was a great project. Perfectly polished horn.

A fun project horn. It needed a little trimming, a lot of soaking and boiling the base to get a plug to fit the oval shape but it is turning out well.

I was pleased when this horn arrived. Very nice, polished as they said. Length was good. The only thing is that the open end is not as round as I hoped it would be. Plan on hand fitting a plug to it. Just like they would have done in the old days.
BTW, shipping was fast and packaging was great.

Just received the two horns I ordered today. They were shipped in a very very timely manner and am quite pleased with the quality, enough white to scrimshaw nicely. For me, the shape and curvature was very acceptable, no major issues on the thin base thickness. I will continue to do business here

Thought the length was find but thought base of horn was small. In fact the length on both horn were what you said but both were small dia. on the end. Bill
