Product Description
This pistol cover is made of the same material as our rifle cover, a heavy horse blanket material with a heavy canvas lining (photo above does not denote color scheme availability). We put the scalloped light weight leather around three sides for durability. It measures 24" in total length. With 18" to cover your pistol, a 6" flap folds over the cover and ties down with a sturdy lace. Colors are limited, might not be able to give the color you want. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

The "Go-For-It" case

I recently got my first muzzleloader pistol with a 9-3/4" barrel. The OAL is almost 15" that made it a challenge to find a carry bag for it. A friend with a similar length revolver shared about purchasing one of these pistol covers, so I checked it out. The appearance looked really cool, and based on the measurements it looked like a good fit. It is a perfect accessory for my pistol! Even got some compliments on its almost-period looks at my first range visit with it. My recommendation is to "go-for-it." It is a quality pistol cover.

An excellent carry case for a muzzleloader pistol.

The case is long enough for most any muzzleloader pistol. The outer material is a tough course weave with colors reminiscent of Southwest patterns. The inner lining is a nice touch which adds some protection for the gun. The case lacks a foam layer which is commonly used in most soft cases today and as such will not protect against more severe knocks. The materials do not appear to offer any meaningful protection against water. If you are reasonably careful with your firearms this case will be just fine. If you are used to tossing your guns into the back of your pickup along with the rusty jack, axes and shovels...find something else

Blanket Pistol Cover Matched Set

Received my second matched set of covers recently.
The covers are not only matching, but the material is cut so that it shows off the diamond pattern of the weave.
As with the first, I am totally satisfied. Good Materials, Quality workmanship, and first rate customer service make this a no-brainer for future purchases.

I purchased my first set of matching rifle and pistol covers in January of this year. At the time, my first choice in color/pattern was not in stock, but the company offered me a second option and filled the order promptly.
I stayed in contact with customer service, and when I learned that my first choice was again in stock I ordered a second set.
I ordered on Sunday, received the shipment at my home on Thursday via USPS Priority Mail.
As with the first set, the workmanship is excellent, well sewn and first-rate materials used throughout. The covers match well, and they will surely grab attention when I go to the range. Now I have match rifle and pistol covers for both of my hunting sets; I will be adding to my collection soon, and I will be purchasing additional covers as I do.

Well made- All seams are neatly sewn with strong thread, and leather edging on the seams protects against wear and raveling.
Was able to order this to match a rifle case, so I now have a matched cased set for hunting or the range.
My first choice in fabric was not available, but the store contacted me within 24 hours of placing the order to inform me of this development and offer a second choice of fabric.

This is one of the best items I have ever bought on line anywhere period and Made very well. Holds my 1847 Colt Walker perfectly.Plus pattern was real nice.
