Our 1 1/2" cleaning jags are made from solid brass and feature a steel threaded stud to prevent breakage. The jag also features a spherically cupped end which allows you to load without harming the ball. The base has been knurled for a better grip on the cleaning patch and for when your fingers can not get a grip from oil or cleaning solvents. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

I use a .72 cal jag. Seats the ball with ease and holds a cleaning patch without fail, each and every time. Really is the best jag.

Both as a cleaning jag and a ramrod tip, it works. Combine it with the solid brass range rod/ram rod sold elsewhere here and you have an unbeatable combination

This jag has bumps on it so you can twist it with your fingers & you do not need pliers etc.
