Product Description
Handy brass ramrod guide protects the bore at the muzzle from wear during cleaning and loading. The conical design allows the guide to be used on all calibers. Perfect for use with brass, aluminum or steel ramrods. The 3/4" rod guide is for the large bore guns 58 caliber and up.

Just what I needed for my loading/cleaning rod. October Country seems to have the largest variety of inner and outer guide dimensions anywhere, recommended.

Protecting your crown is key to long barrel life

One thing that military rifle collectors look for is crown wear from excessive use of steel cleaning rods without a bore or muzzle guide. Civilian bench rest shooters know the importance of a good crown. Muzzle loaders are no different as wooden ram rods can capture dirt and grime, fiberglass can be abrasive and brass cleaning rods can all cause wear to the crown or leading edge of the rifling which will cause accuracy to suffer.
The brass rod guide available from October Country are an invaluable addition to use in conjunction with a variety of range or cleaning rods. Be kind to your barrel and help it last even longer. Pick up one or more of these rod guides, you will be happy you did.
