Product Description
Made of durable leather to be used between the powder charge and patch-ball so you patch won't get burned. Comes in 5 sizes, 100 per pack.
Small items and orders are shipped through the Post Office are sent in a flat rate box or in a first class padded envelope for $3.00 to $12.50. Postage fees may vary due to destination, insurance and excess weight. The $14.00 at check out is a standard and WILL NOT be the shipping charge. It will be adjusted depending on the order and size of flat rate box we use!

These work very well and are sized perfectly; seal the bore well without turning sideways. Have some with jojoba oil on them for recreational shooting, and some are left dry for hunting to keep any oil and lube off the powder when the rifle isn't going to be shot for an extended period.
The quality of these wads is outstanding. They must be scraps from some high-end leather product.
Almost a shame to blast them out of a bore...almost

Works great, shrunk group size

I recently had a custom made .54 caliber smoothbore made for me. I own several custom flintlocks but no smoothbores. I got decent groups with the powder charge and patched ball I chose. I bought these leather wads for when and if I ever shoot shot out of it. I tried using them as an over powder wad on a patched round ball set up. Shrunk the group size noticeably.

I do allot of competition shooting and hunting. I have found using these wads really helps with sealing the powder. I tend to use thinner patches and larger balls. Using this behind a maxi ball works well.

Great product, fit, and easy to use. These wars start down the barrel with ease. I load a 420 grain conical right on top of them and ram them both down at the same time. They keep the powder dry and help seal the bore. Very pleased eith this product.
