These traditional ramrods are made from selected straight grain hickory and have a threaded ramrod tip. The tip is secured with a cross pin. Can be ordered in 3/8", 5/16" or 9 MM diameter. The 9 MM (23/64) rod is for the European manufactured guns. All are 47" long. If you would like a second tip for the other end, please order a separate ramrod tip. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

Ordered this 7/16” dia wooden ramrod to use as a rangerod for my flintlock long guns. The rod has very straight and uniform grain. The attached brass end is nicely milled. The rod was shipped in a piece of pvc tubing, so even us could not damage it.

While watching Hickok45's video shooting a Springfield 1861 rifle, he used a hickory ramrod to load the rifle. Great piece of gear. Something extra to take to the range, but find I'm less prone to forget the ramrod that goes to my Springfield 1863 rifle at the range. Plus I find the stiffness of the hickory makes loading easier.

Nice hickory, straight and true. Fitted the original Pedersoli flat tip to the other side, stained it to match and now Matilda is complete one again.

Although this is a hickory ram rod and not a firearm, it is excellent with craftsmanship of 100% and I am very picky. These folks really care. I will buy again.

You can't! Straight for the diameter and length. High quality wood, well dried and sanded smooth. Came with an attached threaded brass end piece on one end. A nice touch which allows for the opposite end to be trimmed to length.
