This flintlock pan primer is operated by a simple downward push into the pan of the lock. The 1 grain primer will dispense approximately 1 grain of FFFFg priming powder. The primer measures 3" long by 1/2" and is made from brass tubing. The 3 grain primer will dispense approximately 3 grains of FFFFg priming powder. The pan primers are manufacturered from brass with a stainless steel spring. The 3 grain has a knurled end that screws off for easy filling. A lanyard hole is provided in a nicely turned base. The priming mechanism is in a knurled, threaded housing that is removable for easy filling. Holds approximately 110 grains. Used this primer today at the range and it worked perfectly. Two pushes on the tip dispenses just the right amount of pan powder. Great product.

There was no instructions on how to put black powder in this device. Looks nice.
