1. First time user

   My first time with a flintlock Didn't even know leather.
   Needed to cut them down because of small flint
   Worked very well. Very happy

2. too small for large flints

   Too small for use with large flints of one inch or longer. Likely ok for flints 7/8s of an inch.

   They are cut the exact size to get three leather shims for your Flintlock pistol that needs 1/2" flints.

8. Works Great but Expensive

   It is high quality leather but quite expensive for a wear item. Especially since my flint/lock combo uses 2-3 pieces. Over $1 per square inch is pricy compared to 8 cents for tooling leather.

    Flint leather is just the perfect size and only part of the overall pkg for my flintlock rifle.
