Our Eagle Head pan primer is made from an antler with an eagle head carved at the tip and a 3 grain priming valve attached to the wood base. The valve is operated by a simple downward push into the pan. Holds 120 grains of powder. Great for priming nipples also. Not your everyday primer. Made in the USA by October Country, a manufacturer of muzzleloading supplies.

This is a great product at a very reasonable price. Proud to carry this with my long rifle.

works great (base needs to be a bit smaller to fit all the pans) fits most of my flint locks. my double barrel shotgun has a smaller pan. i get a lot of comments about how good it looks (i,m 100% satisfied) thanks David Case.

The product is fantastic. A work of functional art!

I like the craved eagle head detail. Looks well made. My only concern is that it is a bit large at the end and I have to have my lock (L&R) in the full cock position to have enough clearance to dispense. Since no two are alike, it might be just the one I have.

Very nice primer. I think it is well made, air tight and looks great. I'm very glad I picked this up for my shooting bag. Would highly recommend

This a well executed pan charger. I had to create a hanging tab myself, as there was no way to hang it as is. This was no big detail to create out of brass.

Just received my Eagle's Head Pan Primer in time for Christmas. It was more than I had hoped for. The carving is excellent as is the quality of the finish work. The spout dispenses 4F powder in a manageable stream and works positively on and off. The only critique is that you have to disassemble the spout to fill the reservoir, and the opening is quite small. I have a funnel that fits, though, and a little patience is all that is needed.
An artistic addition to my shooting kit that fits perfectly with a scrimshaw horn.
