Simple Sling 1" or 1 1/4"

I was in search of a basic and “simple sling” for my blackpowder rifles and I found exactly what I was looking for. The October Country Simple Sling is of exceptional quality and has a timeless design. They look absolutely amazing on my rifles, but most important of all they are sturdy and are field proven! I purchased this sling to install on a 1873 Swedish Rolling Block Artillery Carbine in 12.7 x 44R. The Artillery carbine has sling loops/swivels of heavy wire as opposed to the saddle ring for the Cavalry Carbine. The original sling did not come with the carbine, but reliable sources indicate it was a simple leather strap with leather lacings as opposed to metal hook fittings. The 1-1/4" simple sling therefore is very close to the original Swedish sling. The simple sling carries easily and also serves as a pretty good hasty shooting sling. I am very happy with this made in USA sling, especially at the quite modest price.

Easy to adjust and comfortable,several compliments from friends

I bought a pair a few years ago for my muzzleloaders. They've been used hard and still look and feel great. I've used a lot of other slings but I keep coming back to these. The price and quality can't be beat.

The sling is made from good quality leather and is nicely designed as a 2 piece so it can be adjusted.. maybe not as quickly as some other designs, but when you have it right for you it ain't going to change. Very sturdy and looks good, comfortable and easily fits the Track of the Wolf rifle sling fittings very well. Now have it on 2 guns and will apply to a 3rd shortly. might even but a couple more.
